“ The food was authentic, and the flavors transported me straight to Mexico City. The atmosphere was also quite immersive, like a small mom and pop shop in Mexico. Although I did find it a bit odd that the air conditioning seemed to be running in the middle of winter. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for a taste of Mexico. Friendly staff, fast service. I ate 4x tacos, a bowl of rice, a bowl of beans and a can of pop for 35 (tip included, no HST). ”
“ In a Plaza full of food options, this place stands out. It's truly special, and I believe that starts from the top. The owner is extremely pleasant, and the staff follows suit. At Mount Sinai, the atmosphere feels authentic, and the food is incredible! I plan on going back to fill my Mexican food needs! ”

“ It was my first time trying birria tacos, and it genuinely lives up to the hype. The beef was fresh tender and the sauce was savoury. I definitely recommend adding that lime onto the taco, which is offered with. The three tacos comes with a pop as well, all for 22 which in my opinion is just right for the quality. The service was my favourite as the young lady there has great hospitality skills. She offered me and my friend two huge churros for free of charge and made the visit a positive one. The place had a homey feeling to it, in a traditional way. I definitely recommend for a change of scenery instead of all the other burger places. Thank you! ”
“ The service was fast the workers helped us out since this was our first time having mexican food. The atmosphere was cozy and warm, it was charming in its own way and felt homey. Now for the food we got the 5 birria tacos option. You can split up certain meats. So we did 3 lamb and 2 beef (I think it was lamb) and they were quite tasty, me and my brother personally liked the lamb option so if we come back we’ll get all 5 lamb. I split this with my brother and we’re 2 young men, and we both got quite full from the tacos. We also ordered the Horacha drink which is a Mexican drink I personally wasn’t the biggest fan but that’s just because of my tastebuds BUT it was still very refreshing ”
“ I ordered 2 chicken birria’s. Absolutely delicious, made fresh and authentic with love. Real Mexican food in Mississauga. The meat was tender and the topping’s were very fresh. A squeeze of lime and sauce to add that kick, such a delicious meal. I also ordered the churros as my dessert, very delicious with the caramel sauce. Anna’s customer service was amazing. I will definitely be back again. ”
“ The birriar tacos are soooooo good!!! Meat was tender and fresh, all of them. Personally I’m not a big fan of steak tacos in general but my husband said it’s really good. The tostada was also delicious where the beans are mushed and shell is fried perfectly to soak up any sauce. Also the waitress is so nice, can’t believe she’s willing to help me practice my broke Spanish lol. Will definitely come back! ”
“ My husband and I loved our time at Mount Sinai. We ordered 5 tacos; two lamb birrias and 3 beef birrias, the consomme was so flavourful, the tacos were stuffed with beef and lamb, topped with cilantro and onions, which gave it that extra oomph! The tacos came with two cold drinks as well. They also gave us some rice and beans on the house, which we truly enjoyed. The space feels so homely and cozy. At the end of our food we also were given two churros on the house as well! If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go! ”
